History
Ngwane Park Alliance Church (NPAC) is a firmly established church that belongs to The Alliance Church in Eswatini. It traces its history back to humble beginnings when The Swedish Alliance Mission, herein referred to as the Mother Church that was founded in 1853 in Sweden, started operating in Eswatini at the beginning of the 20th Century. The Almighty God so blessed the endeavors of the mother church and its missionaries that the membership in Eswatini grew tremendously. In 1973, a stage was reached where it became necessary for the aforesaid society of people to form an independent entity and to operate under a distinctive name and style of its choice – The Alliance Church in Eswatini (TACE).
Ngwane Park Alliance Church was established in 1980 at the Ngwane Park Youth and Training Centre (NPYTC) by Reverend Meshach B. Zwane. Open air and tent strategies were used to win souls and achieve numerical growth at the inception of NPAC. Preaching and teaching was used to achieve spiritual maturity. In the mid-90s, a mission to get land and build a church structure for the NPAC started.
Reverend Richard Dlamini of Kwaluseni Alliance Church took care of NPAC on a part-time basis from 1998 until year 2000. The numbers grew steadily, and during that period NPAC secured land very close to the NPYTC to build a church structure of its own. Reverend Henry M. Khaba who came from Bulembu Alliance (BA) Church was engaged on a fulltime basis. Pastor Khaba sadly went to be with the Lord just after being Pastor for fewer than ten years. After the demise of Rev. Khaba, Reverend Philemon Msibi was engaged on a temporary basis until 2010 when the present Pastor, Reverend Doctor N.H. Tfwala arrived. Who has been armed with relevant skills and theological education for the ministry tasks and is assisted by a team of Workers who are responsible for giving the Spiritual oversight according to the dictates of the mode of operation, the church’s constitution.
NPAC envisions to make an impact in Ngwane Park and beyond through sound biblical teachings and motivation to encourage spiritual corporate growth of the believers and not shunning away from its social concern and community involvement. The church has a big heart in helping elderly and less privileged children. The Caring Ministry is responsible for the Social welfare of the church and the community with the focus of helping the needy and the vulnerable ones, in giving out food hampers. The church has a preaching point at Ka Shali, and also an Educational Fund that looks at helping vulnerable children which was launched in 2019
